Steeped in history, The Rumney offers residents a unique opportunity to share in Charleston's past. In 1784, three young Charleston friends had a dream: to create an excellent rum company. Like many, they were tired of paying high taxes for inferior rum. They knew they could do better. And so in 1784, the Rumney Distillery was born. Centuries later the address is home to 35 boutique apartment homes that put our residents within steps of everything Charleston has to offer.
